yup this is where plot driven kids cartoons seem to be headed. Digimon GG has been doing the same thing, as well as many western cartoons/movies. I miss big fights...

Digimon Adventure 2020 didn't do that and was awesome, then again Digimon GG is just starting, it'll probably get serious soon. This is Pokémon's 90th episode of this season though.
